Barrier1 Systems was founded in 2006 when entrepreneurial spirit partnered with engineering expertise to manufacture its first patented barrier; The “Barrier1” net barrier. By 2008, the “B1 Hornet” shallow mount bollard and the “B1 Hercules” set and pour bollard were added to the product line. In 2015 the introduction of the “B1 Nimitz” horizontal crashbeam and the “B1 Abrams” wedge barrier rounded out the product line and made Barrier1 a complete vehicle barrier provider. As of 2023, Barrier1 Systems has over 15 security and safety barriers in its portfolio and has obtained 13 US patents while bringing innovation and reliability to the forefront of the industry.
Barrier1 is a certified General Services Administration (GSA) contract holder, enabling us to work with any government agency.
